The Magpul Tactile Lock-Plate is designed to enhance your shooting experience by allowing you to easily identify different magazines by feel. This innovative accessory fits Gen M3 PMAGs, ensuring you can keep your eyes on the target while managing your ammunition.

  • Enhanced Identification: The Tactile Lock-Plate replaces the standard Gen M3 lock plate, featuring raised knobs that protrude 1/8" through the floor plate.
  • Feel the Difference: Easily differentiate between magazines loaded with various types of ammo, such as ball, tracer, or subsonic, simply by touch.
  • Compatible Configurations: Available in Type 1 (single knob) or Type 2 (two knob) options.
  • Chest Mounted Convenience: Excellent for use with chest mounted mag pouches.
  • Gloved Hand Detection: Knobs are tall enough (1/8") to be easily detected even with gloves on.
  • Reliability: Does not affect magazine reliability or performance.
  • Durable Construction: Made from reinforced molded hard polymer, just like the original PMAG lock plate.

Installing the Tactile Lock Plate is a breeze. Simply disassemble your magazine as you would for cleaning, then reassemble it with the Tactile Lock Plate for a seamless upgrade.

Brownells Gun Tech™ Note: The Magpul Tactile Lock Plates are compatible with standard 10-, 20-, and 30-round PMAG® Gen M3™ and PMAG® AR 300B Gen M3™ magazines. Please note that they do NOT fit 40-round PMAG® 40 Gen M3™ or PMAG® LR/SR Gen M3™.
