Its unique spring design uses three independent strands of wire, just like the German MG42 Machine Gun. This concept acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the springs to flex separately from each other. This flex helps displace excess energy which decreases the chance of spring failure and assists with making your AR-15 more reliable. The included buffer is H1 weight. The Super 42 spring and Geissele buffer are designed to work together as a set; the spring will not fit over a standard buffer. Soft shooting 14/06/2018
I put this in my new AR build to reduce the noise of the spring section. To my surprise it also reduced recoil making my light weight carbine a joy to shoot. I stay on target better and have more accurate hits and follow up shots. I bought several more to put in my other ARs and SBR.

No spring noise, I paired this up for my ultimate personal build with a SA piston system. Locks up nice and solid.
Con:
I run an H2, putting in another tungsten weight is easy, getting the rubber pad back in is a pain. Roll pin never lines up just right. It's a fight.
