Product Description

Scratch-causing particles of jacket metal, powder fouling, and other debris simply can’t embed in the hard, tough, stainless steel of these rods. Featuring ball bearing handles and a universal brass patch loop, these rods are built to last.

Brownells USA Nice rod but a little short 30/04/2016

I have several Dewey cleaning rods and I like the quality in materials they use and particularly, the smooth, freely spin handle. The only negative I have for this rod is the advertised length of it. The model # says it is 6.5" (actual spec says 6.6" and 16.5 cm long). The true rod length is 5 7/8" or 15 cm long. So you would be getting a very good cleaning rod but know the real length of it before ordering. By the way, even if you measure the rod plus the attachment collar all the way to the red handle, it is only 6 1/4" long. It is a very good product, no need to deceive customers with misleading advertising Dewey. 1 star off for that.

Universal for most all gun cleaning applications, excellent length for cleaning bolt action rifles. Perfect addition to anybody's cleaning arsenal.
