A place for my pinky (18/06/2013)

These Pearce grip extensions for the Springfield XDS .45 work just as they are intended. There is now a place for my pinky finger to make solid contact with the pistol. They were simple to install on the magazines as Springfield made removing the base place easy. I'm hard pressed to come up with a negative. OK, they aren't free. Buy enough for all of your 5 round mags. You should not be disappointed.

I just installed the Pearce Grip on my wife's XDS. It was very simple to install and took less than a minute to install on two magazines. It was a lot cheaper than buying an extended magazine just to increase the grip length. It decreases follow up shot intervals and ensures total control which in turn increases safety.

I would put one on EVERY compact mag (11/08/2011)

Adds just enough length to completely change the feel and control of the weapon. I have used it for several months on my XDm-9 and will put one on every compact mag that I get for this gun.

This is the goldilocks solution for my compact XDm. The extended mag is too long for concealed carry and the compact mag leaves my little finger
with nothing to hold on to. I can now say what I've heard so many times about the XDm, it's like
it was made for my hand.

Great Add On (16/06/2015)

Adds space for pinky, and helps manage recoil. More contact with the grip, and allows faster follow ups.

Necessary? No. But I love mine.

Caveat: When concealing, the grip prints more. But that's a duh.

Works as expected (21/07/2012)

I put these on my Service model XD45. The originals came off easily but these aren't the easiest. The capacity restriction seems pointless and I tried to install one with little success. It's difficult for it to catch the extension with the peg. As long as you don't need the capacity restrictors it's fine fit and function.

Could of been better. (22/07/2012)

The floor plate catch is a pain and doesn't actually catch until after you load the magazine. They look good and feel nice with a two handed grip.

Improvement over stock (04/12/2009)

Added to my CCW pistol. Improves two hand grip with compact mag. Doesn't contour to the pistols grip like the mag. extension sleeve on 13 rnd. mag. But overall still worth the addition.

I do not like the Pearce grip extension. (03/06/2011)

I use this grip extension on my XD45 Compact. I have a large hand, and this unit is too large. It actually makes the pistol less concealable than the standard frame.

PG-XD45 extension on XD45 Compact (12/01/2013)

I put these on my 10 round magazines that do not extend out of the grip and they are great. They provide a rest and leverage for that bottom finger. Very easy to switch out with OEM mag butt plate. They do not add extra rounds. Haven't shot it yet but the grip is so much better. I gave it a "4 Stars" because there are rough/sharp little edges on some corners and mold seams that I had to file down. I don't see where they are an advantage on a full length magazine unless you have a real big hand.

I was looking for better grip / control when shooting my .45 3.8" XDm with the smaller magazine and purchased this grip extension.

Easy to install, fit my hand / grip perfectly. My shooting accuracy is improved.

Installed these on my nine round flush fit magizines. They performed exactly as advertised. I definitely got increased comfort and control. I iwould highly recommend these for all subcompact handgun owners.

I put these grip extentions on my XD9 Subcompact and they add a nice amount of control over the original. I would recomend these to anyone with larger hands.

I put these on my XD40 sub and couldn't be happier. It adds just enough length for better grip which leads to better recoil management and puts you back on target quicker for faster more accurate follow up shots. For me it also does not hinder concealment and is highly recommended.
