The biggest benefit of the BSR is its oversized control pad because a larger surface is easier to hit, making release of the slide possible even when your finger doesn’t come down square on the button. The Ghost Bullet Slide Release’s extra-large control pad is contoured and streamlined so it does not present an extra risk for snagging on clothing or other gear during a draw from holster. Ruggedly built to stand up to hard use Stainless steel with matte black finish that blends with slide & frame Left-handed friendly - easier to operate with the index finger when firing left handed Standard & Forward BSR fit these Glock® Gen1 thru Gen4 models: 17 (three-pin only), 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40 & 41. DOES NOT work on Gen5 models Separate BSR model for Glock® 42 and 43 Ghost developed the Bullet FORWARD version of the BSR for shooters using the modern "thumbs forward" shooting technique. The Bullet Forward Slide Release has the control pad moved forward, thus getting it out of the way so your thumbs do not accidentally push the release UP while shooting and lock the slide open before the mag is empty. If your thumb stance is a little different, it will also help keep you from accidentally pulling the release DOWN and preventing the slide from locking open on the last round. All versions of Ghost’s Bullet Slide Release are easy to install in your Glock®. They drop right into your pistol, replacing the factory release with no other permanent modifications to the gun.

Forward Version:

Ghost also developed the Bullet FORWARD version of the BSR for shooters employing the modern "thumbs forward" shooting technique. This variant positions the control pad forward, preventing accidental engagement of the slide release while shooting and ensuring the slide remains locked open until the magazine is empty. It also helps avoid unintentional downward pulls that could prevent the slide from locking open on the last round.

Easy Installation:

All versions of Ghost’s Bullet Slide Release are designed for easy installation in your Glock®. Simply drop it into your pistol, replacing the factory release without any permanent modifications to your firearm.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Huge difference with this 22/04/2018

This forward bullet slide release is a game changer for lefties. The RH shooters would want the version with the rearward bullet.



Difficult for me to release the slide with the stock Glock part...or even the Glock extended version....with this forward button its fluid and easy.



Installation takes 5 minutes. You pop out the 2 pins [center of pistol] without moving any other internal parts. Slide the stock slide lock out the back, slide the new one in aligning the hole with the big pin, replace pins- done.

Brownells USA A simple and essential upgrade 09/05/2016

I just received and installed this slide release lever today, on my Glock 27. It was a bit of a challenge trying to install it. Though that was mostly because the gun itself was being stubborn, and wasn't any fault of the actual release lever itself. Once i persuaded my Glock to cooperate properly, it was simple enough to swap out the release levers.



Now that I have this new slide release installed, and have had a chance to play around with it a bit, I would highly recommend it to anybody. Its large enough to give your thumb the purchase it needs to operate the slide release better than the factory one, yet it is small enough to be completely out of the way until you needed. I'm definitely going to be installing one of these on every other Glock I purchase in the future.
