Make your Glock 19 more comfortable to shoot, so you can shoot more accurately with our Complete Window Slide + Comped Barrel Kit. This kit lets you assemble the entire "top half" for a new build or a replacement for an existing G19. The ported barrel vents combustion gases upward, through the window in the top of the slide, to counteract muzzle rise. This helps you keep the gun level after each shot and, more importantly, keep the sights on the target. No need to realign those sights for the next shot. The reduced muzzle flip also helps cut down on felt recoil, so the gun is just more comfortable to shoot. The ported barrel mean you do not have to mount a bulky, thread-on compensator to the muzzle. You won't sacrifice your pistol's compactness, AND you can use any holster that accepts a factory Glock 19. The kit consists of three main components: Our Window Slide for Glock 19 Gen3 sports distinctive cocking serrations. The front serrations help you manipulate the slide for quick chamber checks AND for clearing the occasional jam (caused by problem ammo, of course!). Both the front and rear serrations are cut to the same depth as the Glock® factory slide serrations to ensure preservation of structural rigidity. They also maintain the feel of a factory gun, so you don't have to learn a new slide topography. The window slide's top edges and the front around the muzzle area are chamfered to make holstering the pistol easy and reduce the risk of snagging on clothing during the draw. Aside from being the exit path for the gases coming out of the barrel ports, the slide's window also helps dissipate heat to keep the barrel cool during extended fire. The slide is made of ultra-strong, precision-machined 17-4 stainless steel and has an extremely durable Nitride finish. The kit's ported 9mm Luger barrel for Gen3 Glock 19 is precision machined from premium 19R stainless steel for exceptional durability, with 1-10" rifling for outstanding accuracy. The tough Nitride finish provides excellent corrosion protection and lubricity to reduce surface wear.
