Just what I was looking for! 14/07/2018
I purchased this item to use with my L.E. Wilson inside/outside 45 degree chamfer tool. It works like it was made for it, which of course it was! There are chamfer tools with a round shaft that will work in a drill press, but the gun sites don't seem to carry them any more. This adapter allows you to do that with the combo tool.
I use it to chamfer the throat of the chamber on black powder reproduction/replica guns cylinders. Makes for easy starting the round balls, and less lead shaving. Brownells also sells a 45 degree brass lapping tool that does have the drill press stem. Use this with their lapping compound to get a smooth finish. See picture.

One of the best tools I've ever bought 03/12/2016
Deburring and chamfering were my least favorite operations of case prep. Now they're a breeze. Just make sure you follow the recommendation an use a Wilson chamfering tool, which I already had. I used to get the worst hand cramps when I would twist the chamfering tool by hand. This holder eliminates that and is much faster to boot! I have mine inserted into my B&D cordless screwdriver, but a drill works too. I just wish I had purchased one of these years ago.
