EGW's red dot sights are designed for installation from left to right, with the muzzle facing forward. The dovetail features a progressive taper for easier installation. Simply remove the rear sight from your firearm and replace it with our mount to attach your Vortex Viper/Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sight. No modifications to your firearm are necessary, and you can easily revert to your rear sight at any time.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove the rear sight.
  2. Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail.
  3. Tighten set screw (if applicable).
  4. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount (using a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the mount will facilitate easier removal and keep Loctite off the sight).
  5. Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws.
  6. Torque mounting screws to 15 in/lbs.

Included Hardware:

  • 2 Button Head Cap Screws - Provided for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights
  • 2 Flat Head Cap Screws - Provided for Burris FastFire and Docter Sights
