Roughers are .010" smaller in diameter than the final size, do not cut the throat area and should be used to save wear on the Finish Reamer when many chambers are to be cut. If only a few chambers will be cut, a Finish Reamer is all you need.

Introducing the SHOTGUN CHAMBERING REAMERS from CLYMER, designed for professional gunsmiths who demand the highest quality tools.

Product Features:

  • Manufactured from premium M-7 High-Speed Steel for durability and precision.
  • Available in 2-3/4" 12 GA with a .729 (18.5MM) bushing.
  • Roughers are .010" smaller in diameter than the final size, ideal for saving wear on the Finish Reamer.
  • Finish Reamer recommended if only a few chambers are to be cut.

Specifications:

  • Shotgun Reamers - 6 or 8, 8° left-hand, spiral flutes, or straight flutes (indicated by * in table).
  • 1" long removable bushing.
  • 1/2" square shank, compatible with standard socket set extension (except .410 which uses Clymer rifle extensions).
  • Stocked in Finishers only.

Anticipate a delivery time of 4-8 weeks. Please note that the Bushing Blank can be used only on 12, 16, and 20 ga. reamers.
