I got it today, and also got a new 1911 today.
Its very nice, and works great. But I don't have the heart to use it for cleaning.
I think I'll clean my firearms as normal. Then when I'm done, I'll use it for a final wipe down. It should last a long time being used like that. And it can hold a lot of oil in it, but doesn't leave the guns slimy. You can wipe down several guns without adding any oil, and the first one won't be streaked and dripping.
