Definitely recommended
Dropped Straight In 24/08/2013
I bought two of these springs for my Uberti 1851 Navy, and 1860 Army revolvers. Considered the music wire version but decided to stay with the original pattern for the sake of authenticity. Expected there might be some filing/fitting required, but they dropped straight in and worked fine from the get-go. Kept the originals for spares, but feel I've now got properly tempered springs installed.
