An EDC Pack with an Attitude
The Scarab Day Pack from Grey Ghost Gear bucks the notion that you have to choose between comfort and functionality in your daypack. The thick mesh-lined padding ensures airflow and comfort on your back even during long carries, and the same mesh makes for a comfortable wear on your shoulders as the straps use them as well. So does the carry yolk.
Functionality that Impresses
The Scarab Day Pack functionality is also impressive. It starts with the dual compartment front pouch designed to look like a single pocket, making it a little easier to tuck away discrete items. It extends to the interior pocket where the laptop sleeve and strap keeps your technology secure. A semi-translucent pocket on the inside of the front panel makes digging for oddball gear easier, and below that, two pockets with cinch straps make it easy to carry AR-15 mags, or…whatever else you may need to tote around.
