fyi: the Ball measures at .306
Works for me as I am striving for .002 neck tension. I use a .335 bushing on brass that is .015 thick. I do Loads for AR10/SCAR17. I don't like lubing the inside of the necks using the original expander, which is tapered from .306 to .307. Using this carbide ball and .335 bushing, I feel is perfect for me.
My only complaint is that the Decapping rod doesn't stay seated using the provided parts in the kit. Since I decap in a separate step anyways it isn't a big deal to me, but might be to some. Rod provided measured to .062. And yes I have the Type-S FL bushing Die by redding.
Worth getting. 30/03/2015
Performs much smoother than the stock button.
