Once installed , watch a few utube videos, it will be a simple job to complete, well worth the money . You'll have the feeling that when your ruger goes bang , the case will be pulled and tossed to the right . Two of these went into 24 year old Ruger Mark II slab sided SS pistols .
Glad I installed them , these are great for USPSA steel plate matches .

Better than stock, still needs fitting 04/10/2011
Any replacement needs some fitting and this extractor is no exception. It's made with better material and has a sharp, defined hook. But sometimes the edges need to be on the body need to be dressed. A VERY light stoning of the edges where the rim cams up will aid in feeding. Around the edges where it contacts the bolt body will ensure the extractor will move in/out of the slot smoothly.
