Definitely recommended

Great bolt! 19/01/2015

Nicely machined bolt. Have installed them i several custom builds and never had any problems.

Not recommended

Need third hand to install 27/09/2014

The design of this bolt is very different from the traditional Ruger design. You must install the guide rod with the bolt at the same time which i found to be near impossible. If on install the bolt slips out of the detent the guide rod will become locked and unable to be removed. Upon contacting the manufacturer i was told i had to bend it out and they would send me a replacement at no charge. This similar issue happened again. This manufacturer is very good and own several of their products. It is just this item that is of poor design.
