The OTIS .243/6MM Caliber RIPCORD is a convenient tool designed for efficient firearm cleaning. This innovative product allows you to clean from Breech-to-Muzzle in one quick and easy pass.

Key Features:

  • Molded Rubberized Core: The core keeps the Nomex® cleaning surface pressed against the bore, ensuring an aggressive 360° clean.
  • Heat Resistant Outer Layer: Made of heat resistant synthetic fibers (Nomex®), this material is trusted by firefighters, racecar drivers, and the U.S. Military. It withstands temperatures up to 700°F, ensuring that it won’t melt in your barrel.
  • Durable Materials: Rigid, durable materials trap fouling better than nylon products.
  • Nomex® Functionality: Acts as both a brush to loosen fouling and a patch to capture particles.
  • Threaded Ends: Coated solid brass won’t scratch or damage the bore, making it safe for all firearms. The 8-32 standard threads accommodate additional cleaning components if desired.
  • Smart Gun Care: For proper cleaning, insert the longer, narrower end in the chamber and feed out the muzzle. Pull through from Breech-to-Muzzle®. Repeat as needed. Use only for the caliber specified.

I went ahead and purchased one for my 9mm. I have used something similar in the past. The Rip Cord feels really sturdy than the other item I have used in the past. You can attach a cleaning brush or other items on it if you need to. I don't think you can go wrong with this item.
