RAMP MOUNTED FRONT SIGHT: ”MR” features a straight-sided base for guns having a ramp base on the barrel. All “MR” sights have a .340" (8.6mm) wide base. Ramped front sights are available with three beads, Pope’s Island Gold, flat faced gold available in 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter. Ivory, flat faced white polymer in 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter. Refer to the chart alongside this description to find the correct Marbles Sight and note the 9-digit Ordering No. For example, if you require a Contoured Ramp Front Sight, “MR” width, .290" (7.4mm) high, with a 1/16" (1.6mm) gold bead, follow the Height listing to the .290" figure, read across on the “MR” line to the 1/16" gold bead, and note the number: 579-502-911.

Finer front sight for my Ruger MKIII 12/05/2012
I wanted a more precise sight picture on my Ruger MKIII Target pistol. I also used this: 072312 .875 .100 DOVETAIL FRONT RAMP. Works great, but does require some fitting to go into the ramp.
