Revive your firearm's accuracy with the RESCUE FRONT SIGHT BLANK!
Ted Yost developed and made these sights several years ago and after a long absence from the marketplace they are once again available from Harrison Design. These sights can be used to rescue a slide from mis-cut front dovetails.
Features:
- Oversize dovetail base with nominal dimensions of .085" depth and .375" width.
- 65-degree dovetail angle, suitable for most mis-cuts.
- Blade dimensions: .275" tall, .630" long, and .125" wide.
- Vertical rill pin omitted for customizable placement on your slide.
- Dovetail base width of .625" allows for blending or trimming to fit your slide.
- Machined radius at the blade-dovetail junction for added strength.
This is a part that every gunsmith should keep 2 or 3 on hand, as it can get you out of a jam if a slip-up is made. It can also be cut down and made into other sight blanks, making it a versatile tool for your gunsmithing toolbox!
