Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Don't Buy Vang Comp Poor Design 14/10/2015

I bought this Vang Comp 2 shot extension from Brownells thinking oh cool it has a sling swivel mount already on it. I have no idea what barrel diameter they cut this swivel for- but literally it can move up or down at least 1/4" each way and that is on a 12 gauge 870 barrel. The sling mount rattles around. It has a snap ring holding it on to remove it but then you got to buy a another sling mount. It's just to expensive for what it is and the designer should be flogged. I'd return it but not sure if Brownells would let me. Would rather get a Nordic. Yes this is a real review.

Brownells USA Solid, but needs work 21/09/2010

This is a solid piece (machined steel, so if the shotgun jams you can just beat your attacker unconscious with it), mounts securely and I don't see how it could break or malfunction. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because of the poorly designed sling mount. It is not removable, but it is offset a good 1/4" from the barrel, which causes a lot of rattling and can scratch the finish on the barrel. I didn't need a sling mount so i just cut it off with a dremel tool.
