Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Perfect, over 3500 rounds so far 27/11/2015

I bought this kit a couple years ago and it has work perfect from day one. All of the mags I have worked for .308 right out of the package, no adjustments required. My mags have been in and out probably hundreds of times with no signs of wear other than to the finish.

The only down side is the price but being heavy duty stainless steel along with outer shell they should last forever.



Max round OAL is 2.850" so if you require longer these are not for you.

If you load your rounds to published specs for the .308/7.62 round then these will work fine. If you are doing some sort of wildcat with an out-of-spec round then you should never use any magazine system. I have had no trouble whatsoever using PRVI Partizan 145gr rounds, Black Hills 175gr match rounds and handloaded rounds with Sierra Matchkings that essentially duplicate the Black Hills round. My OALT is 2.793". Fit is no problem whatsoever. These mags are very sturdy. They feed with perfect reliability, the mags drop freely via an ingenious low power internal spring within the bottom metal and their bottoms are encased in a polymer 'foot' that you are going to need a big hammer to damage... in normal use they should last forever. these mags pop right into the H-S assembly and feed from the get-go without any need for fine tuning.
