Clean and chase dinged or imperfect threads, either on the barrel or in the receiver. Real lifesavers for any rebarreling job, especially good when installing any of our “no-lathe”, pre- threaded barrels. Thanks to Walt Warren for his suggestion.

SPECS: High speed steel.  .980"-12 tpi fits Small Ring Mauser (plug tap cuts full-depth threads on small ring 98s with internal shoulders); 1.00"-16 tpi fits FN-FAL; 1.10"-12 tpi fits Large Ring Mauser; 11⁄16"-16 tpi fits Remington 700 and XP-100; 1.055"-20 tpi fits Savage 110/112.
