I have a Remington 541X that I purchased from the [...]. It has a Redfield Globe front sight Model 68A. I couldn't find the narrow post insert that came with the sight. I have been using the wide one. Looking through the Brownells catalog I came upon Lee Shaver inserts and decided to order a set. I tried the inserts, they all are a perfect fit. The quality is much better than the original inserts. How they are made puzzles me but I suspect they are photo etched. They are nicely crafted and offer an interesting selection of designs. I recommend this product to all that use or need new inserts. [...]
