Pre-contoured, so you need only cut to required length, mill cross-slots, radius the underside (if needed), and drill mounting holes. Much easier than machining from scratch from bar stock. Perfect for installations that require special ring positioning. Place cross-slots only where you need them; dovetail contour accepts Picatinny or Weaver-style rings. Channel down the center keeps weight to a minimum without compromising rigidity.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Ever so handy... 06/04/2012

This is a serious time saver. With this you can make the rails you need rather then have to search for the right premade one, or machine from barstock. Right to spec, and ready for custom rail needs.

It may work out in the long run but it is NOT built the mil-std-1913 that Picatinny became known for.
