Enhance your shooting precision with the MAGPUL AFG2 Angled Fore Grip.
The PICATINNY AFG2 ANGLED FORE GRIP by MAGPUL is designed to improve your shooting experience. This low-profile forward grip and hand stop leverage natural body mechanics, providing the shooter with:
- More precise control
- Faster pointing
- Less operator fatigue
The Magpul AFG™ (Angled Fore Grip) positions the support hand near the centerline of the bore, maximizing recoil control and aiding in fast, accurate follow-up shots. It offers a consistent reference point for quickly finding the correct hand position, especially under stress.
This grip promotes a natural, ergonomic hand position with the palm facing up, improving blood flow compared to the "clenched fist" stance often associated with vertical grips, which can lead to fatigue and loss of sensation during extended periods in the ready position.
Additionally, the AFG2™ enhances the "thumb break" hold commonly used with standard vertical grips, allowing the thumb to rest comfortably alongside the top rail while keeping the rest of the hand in full contact with the forend.
Constructed from heavy-duty reinforced molded polymer, the AFG2™ withstands the rigors of tactical operations. Deep, molded-in grooves ensure a firm grip, even in wet conditions. Interchangeable inserts provide options for a straight gripping surface or one with a convenient ledge to support the index finger.
Compatible with any Picatinny-style rail, the AFG2™ locks securely in place with a hardened steel crossbolt. Its more compact design is shorter and narrower, taking up less rail space while accommodating a wider variety of weapons. Both models can be installed on tactical shotguns and other rifles with railed forends, without interfering with magazine insertion and removal on AK-47s.
