Just falls short of 5 stars 24/05/2018
I bought this to work on sights and other occasional issues that require a non-marring punch and this should work for that application. The thing I have a problem and why I couldn't give 5 stars has been mentioned before. The metal filings need to be removed from the threads. A quality tool shouldn't have metal filings and the threads should be clean. Just a simple thing required for a quality tool.
Non Maring 02/09/2017
I just Cerakoted a Remington 870. The fire control pins were coated to avoid rust, the bane recent 870's. The pin was now too tight in the receiver, I drove it in with this punch from both sides and then installed the fire control. No marring even though the pins were tight. Another great tool from Brownells.
