The entire system is based on the MS1, a dedicated two-point sling built around our innovative new slider, which provides rapid sling adjustments without the tails, loops, or bulk of other solutions. Even while wearing gloves, the new slider is faster, easier, and lower profile than previous slings, but your sling setting stays put, even under load. The MS1 comes without connecting hardware so you can choose what you need for your specific application. Magpul Paraclips and push-button QDs are available individually to complement our selection of sling attachment points. For the option to convert to one-point use, simply add the appropriate one-point adapter that works with your choice of hardware. Melonite™ and manganese phosphate finished steel with custom snag-free high durability 1-1/4" webbing. Made in U.S.A. I'm fine with the fact that this was the MAG513 MS1 sling (i.e. strap only, no attachment pieces), but the photo on the listing shows a paraclip on one end. Note: It does not include the paraclip.
No extras 11/11/2017
I have tried single-point, three-point, standard GI, and several others over the last 35 years. This is my favorite sling. I bought one in coyote four years ago and am buying another in Ranger green today. It doesn't come with a bunch of extras that you have to pay for but may not need. It's just the sling. It's easy to install (no directions needed) easy to adjust and it's quiet. I use it slung diagonally across my left shoulder with the rifle hanging in front with the stock near my right shoulder and muzzle down and to the left. It is perfect for that method of carry. It also works well at the standard "sling arms" method of carry if you shorten it a tad.
