The new Flat Faced Forward Set Trigger from APEX TACTICAL SPECIALTIES INC offers a factory 1911 type trigger feel and performance at an approximate weight of 3.0 to 4.0 lbs. Designed specifically for use in any Smith & Wesson M&P model pistol in centerfire calibers (excluding Shield), this trigger kit significantly reduces trigger pre-travel and over-travel.

Key Features:

Allows for finger positioning at a lower leverage point on the trigger face, enhancing trigger pull weight advantages.
Compatible with existing Apex Forward Set Sear kits; does not work with factory Smith & Wesson fire control parts.
Includes the Apex Forward Set Sear, which shortens the trigger stroke by dropping the striker at a point farther forward than the factory sear.
The Ultimate Striker Block ensures a smoother trigger pull and addresses most false reset issues with an improved radius on the striker block face.
Forward Set Springs kit provides a trigger pull weight of 3.0 to 4.0 lbs, depending on the installed trigger return spring.
Requires the use of the sear housing block designed for the large size sear plunger and spring (current production as of June 2011).
NOT recommended for duty/carry applications.
Does Not fit M&P 2.0 Pistols.

Definitely recommended

Apex Flat Faced M&P Trigger Kit 06/04/2017

Props to Brownells for super fast shipping and great customer service! Absolutely love the trigger, bought it with the "RAM" as well and it worked flawlessly on an M&P 9 pro. Installation was fairly easy, smooth and easy pull on the trigger and way better click on the reset than stock. For me, increased accuracy from presenting and shooting fast, over 50% A must have for the M&P, and well it looks awesome too! Get one! And order from Brownells it will not be a disappointment.

Amazing trigger 31/01/2017

The apex trigger is by far in a league of its own... I have the flatfaced forward set trigger installed in all my M&P pistols, all the way from my M&P pro CORE down to my EDC M&P compact... If you want to give your M&P what it needs, install an Apex trigger, I promise you will not be disappointed...

Apex nailed it!!! 03/10/2016

This trigger is amazing.

I had read some reviews online with people gushing about this trigger so I had to buy it. Personally I think it's kind of ugly and I have ordered things before that people raved about and regretted it (Salient Arms, to name just one of a few), but I had to give this a try. I have flat faced triggers on 5 or 6 guns now and I love them all. I think I can safely say this is my favorite handgun trigger right now. The pull is clean and crisp. I put the 4 lb trigger spring in (there is one lighter option included) and it's like a dream. It breaks clean and the reset is equally phenomenal. It's unbelievably short, very distinct, it just begs you to pull the trigger again...

Installation was relatively easy, 20 times easier than the trigger job on my HK 45c!! The only complaint I have is that while Apex does have videos to help you install, there isn't one video. You have to watch like 4 separate videos to get the darn thing in, but still 5 stars as the product could not be better in my opinion. I have an Agency Glock and while I love it and it's a beauty and we'll executed the trigger feels so bad now compared to this... Apex for the win!!
