The MONTANA RIFLE 1999 LONG ACTION HD SCOPE BASES by EGW are precision-engineered to enhance your firearm's performance. Machined from solid 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, these scope bases are designed for durability and reliability.

  • Torque Specs: 20 in/lbs
  • Center Spread: 4.045"
  • Overall Length of Mount: 7.458"
  • Height: Approximately 0.35” high

This mount features a bevel on both sides, making it ambidextrous. The center spread refers to the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver. The Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, providing flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are machined to the full width of the mount and are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs, maintaining tolerances of +/-.002".

After machining, the mounts are tumbled and sand blasted. The aluminum mounts undergo Type III hard coat anodization for long-lasting durability, while the steel rails are Mil Spec parkerized for a robust rust-resistant finish. Enhance your setup further by adding EGW’s HD Scope Rings for a complete package!

Installation Recommendations:

EGW recommends using 20 inch lbs of torque along with a drip of blue loctite (available separately through our website). Ensure a secure fit for optimal performance.
