The Mildot Master® is an analog calculator designed along the principle of a slide rule, utilizing logarithmic and inverse logarithmic scales developed specifically for performing the following operations: Rapid and simple calculation of range to target. Rapid and simple calculation of the amount of sight correction necessary to compensate for bullet drop and/or wind drift for a given range (MRAD or MOA) Completely Analog, no batteries or electronics to worry about failing. Angle of fire for uphill or downhill shots can be accurately measured and compensated for. A great addition to your range kit or hunting pack.

Definitely recommended
Perfect basic tool 28/10/2013
The mildot Master is not gonna tell you were your bullet is going to hit, so its not fair to compare it to a ballistics app on a phone or PDA/pocket PC. This is a great tool for new/old shooters for range estimation or sight corrections among other things, instead of trying to compute all the formulas in your head or in a calculator that probably has dead batteries once your on the range. the manual is good reading especially if your new to using mildots.
