Uses AICS -type detachable magazines. Drop-in for Ruger Gunsite Scout rifles only. 223/5.56 Scout must use Ruger factory magazine. This chassis was designed for short barreled rifles, with a short forend and minimum weight. It still offers the same benefits in accuracy and ergonomics, and is also the most economical chassis from MDT.
