Cheek rest height and butt-pad length-of-pull are adjustable by thumb wheels.V-block bedding system to form a solid and reliable base for the rifle action.The magazine well has been refined for easy insertion of the magazine.Ambidextrous, easy reach magazine latch – can be operated with trigger finger or left hand.Barricade stop in front of the magazine to prevent putting pressure on the magazine.Compatible with all non-beavertail AR pattern pistol grips. Beavertail grips will fit with minor trimming.

The MDT ESS Chassis System Kit for the Howa 1500 is designed to enhance your shooting experience with its innovative features. This kit includes:

  • 15" Forend: Provides ample space for mounting accessories.
  • Adjustable Buttstock: Fully adjustable for a perfect fit, with lateral adjustments for the butt-pad and cheek rest.
  • AR Pistol Grip: Ergonomically designed for comfort and control.

Please note that a magazine must be purchased separately.

The buttstock features:

  • Thumb Wheel Adjustments: Cheek rest height and butt-pad length-of-pull can be easily adjusted.
  • V-Block Bedding System: Ensures a solid and reliable base for the rifle action.

The magazine well has been refined for easy insertion of the magazine, and the ambidextrous magazine latch allows for easy operation with either the trigger finger or left hand. Additionally, a barricade stop is positioned in front of the magazine to prevent any pressure on it.

This chassis system is compatible with all non-beavertail AR pattern pistol grips, while beavertail grips can fit with minor trimming.
