And thankfully, Cloud Defensive customers spoke and gave immediate feedback. As always, Cloud listened. And now, Cloud Defensive have integrated your requests and have brand-new capabilities in the latest iteration of the MCH series. With these changes, the MCH surges that much further in front of the rest. Programmability: The MCH is now fully programmable, by the end-user. This allows you, for the first time, full control over the output of the flashlight. Every MCH ships from the factory in Mode 1. But there are 4 other modes you can select, based on your needs. And you can change the programming anytime you want. So the MCH is more configurable than ever before. Mode 1: High-only (100%) Mode 2: Low (10%), High (100%) Mode 3: High (100%), Low (10%) Mode 4: Very Low (5%), Medium (30%), High (100%) Mode 5: High (100%), Medium (30%), Very Low (5%) Sizes and Light Heads: With the advent of the Programmable light heads, the MCH line has now been streamlined for you. The EDC line, which is a higher lumen and lower candela offering. And the HC line, which is a slightly lower lumen and higher candela offering. Both of which are again, fully programmable. Tail Cap Configurations: Critically, MCH allows the user to carefully select from an industry-first (and Patented) Adjustable Negligent Discharge protection system. Each light ships with the full ND Protection package and the user can now configure the tail cap for their respective needs. Be it deep-pocket carry or being at home on your plate carrier, the MCH is duty-grade in every way. And fully configurable to what you need. If your need changes, you just adjust the ND Protection accordingly with parts you already have. MCH-HC: Cloud Defensive standard high candela offering for daily carry applications. With 950 or 1100 lumen models, it is the brightest light on the market at its size, and its performance is now better as well. With a newly-upgraded electrical system, Cloud Defensive are able to get powerful Candela out of the MCH-HC. Which means your ability to throw light a very long ways just increased, while maintaining useable spill as well. This not just a laser-beam of white light. That is not useful. Defensive-oriented daily carry applications need high candela with a very appropriate amount of usable spill. The MCH-HC has those features, making it a superior tool for searching, situational awareness and tactical applications. Fully Customizable: You can now optimize the tail cap of your handheld light. Cloud Defensive are proud to offer an industry-first Negligent Discharge Protection system for the MCH that end users can adjust as needed. The shorter ND protector reduces the amount of shrouding around the switch and is ideal for anyone planning to use the Thyrm SwitchBack Technique. You are also able to easily utilize many of the other traditional low-light defensive techniques with this option. The other 2 ND protectors offer progressively more robust ND protection as they create a hard barrier between the outside world and the light switch. This is optimal for concealed carry and EDC in instances where the light may be in your pocket and you need to avoid inadvertently turning that light on while seated, etc. The best part? The entire ND Protection System comes with EVERY MCH. And these are easily interchanged by you, the end user. If you need to adjust the light from one role to the other, it can be done in about 10 seconds. Battery Changing with Ease: With the all new MCH, you are able to easily change the battery from the light head side of the MCH. The positive end always goes to the front of the light. And there is reverse polarity protection built in just in case. Power: The Full size MCH uses 1 Lithium Ion, Rechargeable, Flat-top, Unprotected 18650 or 18350 (depending on model) which is included. It is also compatible with most button-top unprotected cells and. The Full size MCH has very limited compatibility with Protected cells. Do not assume compatibility with those. Cloud Defensive favor the Unprotected cells due to the substantial performance increases. The MCH lights also now accept CR123 batteries. Use of CR123 batteries will absolutely result in lower output and shorter run-times. That is purely a function of CR123 cells being very inferior to Cloud Defensive rechargeable cells. But this new CR123 capability is perfect for use in emergency situations. Pocket Clip: The MCH ships with a standard, metal deep-carry pocket clip that is made from spring steel and then heat-treated and black nitride plated. Materials and Durability: The MCH is precision machined from Certified 6061-T6 aluminum. Has a type III Anodized to MIL STD. “Hard coat”. Has an IPX-8 waterproof rating. Fully submersible to 100 Ft. for 24 hours.
