816341025745 The Gunner profile is a blend of two of the best performing profiles of all time, Gov't and Pencil. Faxon's Gunner profile combines the durability of the Gov't profile with the weight savings and maneuverability of the Pencil profile. The Gunner profile brings the balance of the rifle back towards the shooter's body, limiting fatigue, and allowing for shooting, training, or hunting all day long. Faxon's MATCH SERIES of barrels takes their renowned performance and value up a notch. Manufactured in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock, the Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay. The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon which maintains incredible dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and with the coating, tightens up fit between the extension and receiver - again improving upon accuracy. Combined, the Match Series of barrels are ready for when duty calls or the buzzer beeps with unrivaled performance value. The Gunner profile is a remarkable fusion of two of the most effective barrel profiles ever created, the Gov't and Pencil. This innovative design merges the robust durability of the Gov't profile with the lightweight and agile characteristics of the Pencil profile. The result is a barrel that shifts the rifle's balance closer to the shooter's body, minimizing fatigue and enabling extended shooting, training, or hunting sessions.

Faxon's MATCH SERIES of barrels elevates their celebrated performance and value to new heights. Crafted in-house from high-quality gun-barrel stock, the Match Series utilizes 416-R steel with 5R rifling. This hybrid rifling features lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles, which decreases jacket deformation, enhances velocity, and simplifies cleaning.

After extensive testing, these barrels receive a Nitride treatment both inside and out, securing the bore, extending barrel life, and protecting against the elements. The extension is treated with Nichol Teflon, which offers exceptional dry lubricity and corrosion resistance. This coating also tightens the fit between the extension and receiver, further enhancing accuracy.

When combined, the Match Series barrels are primed for action, whether duty calls or the buzzer sounds, delivering unparalleled performance and value.
