Definitely recommended

Much better than OEM 08/03/2016

I bought these to replace the factory sights on my Marlin 336BL. Installation was easy. Sight picture is much better and easier to acquire. The front sight is a nice improvement over the bead. The sight picture is very similar to a M4/M16 sight picture (or any similar peep sight for that matter) and feel beefy and rugged. I found it nice that two different size rear apertures were included. I haven't sighted in yet due to weather, but am looking forward to putting the sights through their paces.

Installed this set on my Marlin 1894C. Couldn't be easier to install and the white stripe really stands out. I turned the rear aperture in all the way and the gun shoots to POA at 25 yds. with my 38 Special practice/small game loads without changing the windage. Took a real beginner out shooting and he could keep all his shots within a six-inch circle at 25 yds. Expensive, but worth the money.
