Not recommended
Broke first time at the range 05/10/2016
The swivel stud is held in place by a snap ring at the front of the cap. After firing five slugs the snap ring disappeared. Therefore once I removed the end cap for cleaning the stud fell out. This is inferior to the factory end cap.
Recommended
Swivel base rotation 15/09/2012
Though well made, the swivel base does not rotate within the cap so movement of the sling swivel could work the base loose. Using a thread locking compound should prevent the base from working loose, however, I also use such a cap on my Winchester 1300, and on that version the base can rotate.
