Definitely recommended
Great Product 03/05/2013
My recently purchased Ransom Rest has proved to be the only way to definitively test handguns and ammunition for maximum accuracy. The human hand cannot compeat with the Ransom Rest for repeatability over several shots.
To be successful with the Ransom Rest, you must be very careful to mount it, clamp it down and settle the gun in accordance with the instructions. If done properly, Ransom Rest tests will provide an outstanding review of your guns and ammunitions accuracy capabiity.
A Ransom Rest user should be aware that there can be odd results at times, mainly caused with semi-auto pistols. There will be a difference in bullet target impact on a round fired that has been chambered by hand, when compared to a round loaded automatically by the firearm. Limit your groups for record to only those rounds loaded by the firearm for best repeatability.

A Must Have for the Serious Shooter 20/04/2013
This is a tool that should be regarded as a must have for the serious shooter. Properly setup and used it will proof both the gun as well as the loads. A true confidence builder. Knowing what your gun will shoot now allows you to perfect your shooting skills.
But beware! You will have a lot of new "best friends" once word gets out that you have one.
