812526020994 BCM® (MPI) complete bolt carrier group is fully assembled. (BCG) Bolt carrier group (auto version) for your AR15, M16, or M4. Parkerized exterior and chrome lined inside carrier. Machined to USGI specifications. This M16/M4 carrier includes the proper Mil-Spec gas key. Gas key is chrome lined and heat treated per GI specifications. Gas key is secured to carrier via USGI domestic mfg Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Specs. These properly hardened parts insure a strong staking and proper gas system functioning. The bolt assembly is machined from the correct Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158® steel, shot peened for increased strength, includes tool steel machined extractor and ejector, BCM Extractor Spring, and is HPT (High Pressure Tested) and MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected). Prior to shipping, all BCM Bolt Carrier Groups are test fired for function. As such, the Bolt Carrier Group will show handling marks consistent with these quality control procedures. The Flat Dark Earth version has the stripped carrier finished with an Ion Bond coating which lowers friction and allows for easier cleaning.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Heavy duty, well built BCG 27/08/2018

I got this for a .223 build where I used Aero Precision Upper & Lower. I grabbed a BCM charging handle & buffer tube assembly as well. The bolt is heavy duty & machined with tight tolerances. I didn't want to buy a bolt, carrier, extractor, etc. so this was my choice for a drop-in BCG. The bolt was tight when new and has worn in slightly with use. No heavy wear spots noticed after 1000 rounds fired and it cleans up nicely. I doubt it will ever break or wear out. Would consider another bolt if trying to build a low weight AR, but if that's not a concern this part is an excellent choice and will be worth the money spent.

Brownells USA Great BCG, substandard packaging 24/11/2017

BCM makes a 5-star product but shipping by Brownell's was disappointing. BCG received with thin styrofoam wrap around BCG then placed in a thin bubble envelope. I would expect a $169 BCG to be shipped in a box. I could imagine this product getting dropped on a concrete floor by a hurried postal worker. I guess free Edge shipping doesn't entitle one to a box.
