M1 Spring Kit 11/07/2013

Extra power extractor and ejector springs are nice to have and easy to install. Extra power recoil spring is only for rifles with gas system parts that are not worn out or short stroking will occur. Recoil spring is long but does install with some effort. Extra power hammer spring is almost impossible to install, but does decrease lock time. Hammer spring is actually so powerful I am afraid to dry fire without damaging the firing pin.

I ordered and installed the spring kit and to my surprise the recoil spring was too long for the weapon. It would seem to me as if it were a quality control issue on behalf of the manufacturer.
