The KP-9 Stripped Lower Receiver: A Revolutionary Polymer Design for 9mm Enthusiasts
The KP-9 Stripped Lower Receiver by KE ARMS is a cutting-edge, monolithic polymer receiver that is compatible with 9mm Glock magazines and designed in the AR15 style. Crafted from injection molded 30% glass filled nylon, this receiver integrates essential components such as the buttstock, buffer tube, pistol grip, and trigger guard, offering numerous advantages over traditional designs.
Key Features:
- Compatibility with most common 9mm AR15 uppers and lower parts kits
- Compatible with Glock 17 and 19 magazines
- Flared magwell for easier reloads under stress
- A1 Length 13” Length of Pull (LOP) buttstock for a wide range of shooters
- MLOK slots at the rear of the stock for sling attachment points
- Holes at the front of the stock for QD socket inserts
- Improved grip for comfortable use
Included Components:
- Pivot and Take Down Pins
- KP-9 Selector Detent
- Buttplate
- 5/64" Roll Pin to retain buffer detent
- Ambi Glock Magazine Catch Assembly
- Adjustable 9mm Steel Ejector
The KP-9 receiver utilizes a carbine buffer and spring; it is crucial to use only standard 9mm carbine buffers and round springs or the JP SCSS. The design features built-in detents for the take down and pivot pins, enhancing durability by eliminating the need for springs and detent holes.
Compatible with all Mil-Spec Fire Control Groups, the KP-9 also works with cassette style match triggers, including the KE Arms SLT units. The wider hammer pin area allows for standard AR15 hammer pins to be used, while a longer hammer pin is available for those who prefer a flush aesthetic.
For optimal performance, we recommend using our optimized mil-spec selector or ambi selector to simplify removal. The KP-9 is also compatible with 9mm blowback systems, requiring a minimum buffer weight of 5.4oz.
If you plan to have your KP-9 Cerakoted, we suggest using We Plead the 2nd, who are experienced in coating polymer receivers and have our authorization. Ensure that the bake is done at low temperatures (<190 Degrees F) with an upper in place to prevent warping.
Lastly, please note that the Last Round Bolt Hold Open function is dependent on the upper used, as the standard bolt catch does not interface with the Glock magazine follower. Some uppers, such as those from Gibbz Arms and New Frontier Armory, feature linkage systems that allow for this functionality.
Experience the future of firearm design with the KP-9 Stripped Lower Receiver, where innovation meets reliability.
