841370117147 Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup; the Hunter series picatinny scope mount. EGW saw the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy duty, picatinny scope mount and this is what they came up with. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born. Featuring: 7075 T6 aluminum for an extremely durable yet lightweight construction. Type III hardcoat anodizing protects the mount from whatever nature can throw at it. Chamfered edges provide a snag free hunt. A compact overall length sheds 15% of its weight compared to our other Heavy Duty mounts. 51000 mounts manufactured after 12/2020 are drilled to accommodate larger diameter screws (#8-40) and now come with #6-48 and #8-40 screws. The head diameter on the #6-48 screws provided with this mount is larger than our normal #6-48 screws. If you have questions about your specific firearm, or need help regarding the specific screw size, you should contact Savage Customer Support at (413) 568-7001 or (800) 370-0708 and supply them with your serial number. The blue bag of screws provided are #6-48 screws. The red bag of screws provided are #8-40 screws. Rifles requiring #8 screws (please check your individual rifle to be sure): 10/110 BA Stealth 10/110 Stealth Evolution 110 Scout 110 Wolverine 10 GRS 110 Tactical 110 Tactical LH 110 Tactical Desert 110 Ridge Warrior 110 Ultralite Christensen Arms Ridgeline Screw Diameters #6 Screws - .13"" diameter #8 Screws - .16"" diameter EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions they have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. EGW's one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. EGW machines these in our shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
