This high-strength threadlocker is ideal for securing bolts and screws that must remain fixed over time, effectively preventing loosening due to shock and vibration. It is particularly suitable for metal thread engagements where a robust hold is essential. Vibration Resistance: Effectively prevents loosening of metal thread engagements subjected to shock and vibration, maintaining assembly integrity. User-Friendly Application: Cures through the evaporation of water, simplifying the bonding process without the need for specialized equipment. Specifications: Container Sizes: Available in 1.8 ml and 10 ml tubes, accommodating both small-scale and more extensive applications. Color: Red, allowing for easy identification during application and inspection. Application Instructions: Surface Preparation: Ensure that parts are clean, dry, and free from oil or grease to promote optimal adhesion. Application: Apply the threadlocker to the threads, covering a length approximately 1.5 times the diameter of the part. Assembly: Assemble parts and tighten as required. Curing: Allow the product to cure through the evaporation of water to build strength. Instructions for Use: Parts must be clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Brownells High Strength Red Threadlocker cures through evaporation of water in order to build strength. It can be applied wet to threads and tightened or used to coat threads and allowed to dry before installation. Once set, disassembling parts with the threadlocker applied is achievable with the application of heat and standard tools. It is recommended to clean threads thoroughly with a brush and reapply the threadlocker when reassembling parts. Curing Time and Performance Temperature Range: Fixture Time: 15 - 20 minutes @ 72° F / 22° C Full Cure Time: 24 Hours @ 72° F / 22° C Temperature Range: -60° F to 300° F / -51° C to 150° C Safety Considerations: This product may cause skin and eye irritation. It is not recommended for use with plastics or in oxygen-rich environments. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed safety information.
