The result is barrels with a strong resistance to accuracy drift due to heat warpage - a real plus in a hard-running action competition pistol. Besides, it also looks cool! Faxon’s Flame Match Barrels for Glock® 17 are painstakingly machined from triple stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, before application of a hard, black Nitride finish for superb resistance to surface wear. Muzzles have a meticulously cut 11° target crown to ensure the bullet departs on a true trajectory. Compatible with Gen 1-4 G17 pistols 9mm SAAMI-spec chamber AND 1-10" twist conventional rifling handles any type of projectile - jacketed, heavy subsonics, even cast-lead practice bullets Available with a plain, unthreaded muzzle OR with ½"-28 tpi threads for compensator or sound suppressor installation Hard Nitride finish is non-reflective and helps prevent surface wear As if that’s not enough, the Faxon Flame Match Barrel for Glock® 17 drops into a factory-spec slide with no gunsmith fitting needed.
