Introducing the A5 Castle Nut by Forward Controls Design

The CN5F (Castle Nut, A5, Forward Controls) is a premium upgrade for your Vltor A5 system, designed to enhance compatibility and performance.

Product Features:

  • Length: 0.1" longer than standard, ensuring optimal fit.
  • Staking Notches: Angled from 45 to 30 degrees, providing longer (25% longer than TDP spec) and deeper notches for secure stakings.
  • Increased Staking Notches: Now with 4 notches, allowing for greater flexibility in staking locations.
  • Coarse Serrations: Located on the wrench side for easier rotation during installation.

The CN5F is crafted from billet machined 4140 PH steel and features a black nitrided finish, with options for Cerakoted FDE, OD green, and burnt bronze. Proudly made in the USA, this castle nut is engineered to ensure that once installed and staked, it will remain secure without loosening unless intentionally adjusted by the user.

Note: While the CN5F is compatible with standard TDP spec length REs, its additional length may prevent some carbine stocks from fully collapsing. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use it with Vltor's RE-A5 and FCD's RE5F.
