050806006256 Extra size and weight helps keep these blocks where you put them and the big face eliminates much of the “balancing act” when you’re driving pins. Cannot mar even the most highly polished surface. Two different models. Green - For rifles and shotguns; drilled with four through holes for easier pin removal and disassembly. Convenient, center “V” holds cylindrically shaped parts steady so they won’t roll. Blue - For revolvers and pistols. Larger through holes and partial “V” holds pistol barrels for easier link pin installation and removal. Can be drilled or modified with hand tools; will not melt when machined.Delivery time approx. 7-14 days.
Introducing the EXTRA-LARGE BENCH BLOCKS from BROWNELLS, designed to provide stability and precision during your firearm maintenance tasks.
The extra size and weight of these blocks ensure they stay securely in place, while the large face reduces the need for balancing when driving pins. They are engineered to avoid marring even the most highly polished surfaces.
Both models can be drilled or modified with hand tools and will not melt when machined, making them a versatile addition to your gunsmithing toolkit.

Works Fine 17/05/2016
Worked fine with my AR15. But before I used it, I sanded down the edges of the center channel since it was still a little rough, and also to make the edges more "curved" instead it's sharp angle.
When I removed the pin from my FSB, some of the black phosphate finish rubbed off. I'll apply some electrical tape on the edges next time I use it.
Mainspring housing woes? Get this! 04/05/2016
Disassembling a 1911 mainspring housing with lanyard loop is a snap with this block. Position the housing so it doesn't move with loop down in a hole, press down (hard, always) and remove the retainer pin. Avoid the dreaded vice claws and don't be afraid to clean out your housing and replace the spring. Of course, I also use the block for anything that needs to be punched out. Armorer's plates are great but $$$. I consider this a versatile tool at a value price.
