The DEVCON EXPRESS EPOXY STEEL PUTTY is a two-part epoxy designed to provide maximum-strength rifle bedding while also assisting in the repair of non-critical metal parts.
The Steel and Aluminum options are available as putty, with the Steel also offered in liquid form for easy flow into tight areas, making molds, fixtures, and light gauge forming dies.
All products include clear instructions for use. The Steel Putty meets Mil-Spec DOD-C-24176B(SH), while the Steel Liquid meets Mil-Spec MMM-A-1754, and the Aluminum Putty meets Mil-Spec DOD-C-24176B.

Works great for me! 14/04/2017
One poster said this stuff wouldn't stick to synthestic stocks - but it sure works ok for me, just have to know how to apply it right.
I have bedded many stocks with it over the last 25 yrs and never had any problems using it.
I use Brownells release agent - good stuff. Can also use floor paste wax or Pam Spray oil.
My only complaint is the shelf life, wish is was longer.
Expensive, but good stuff 18/06/2016
I have bedded several rifle actions with it and have been satisfied so far. I like the putty because it's easier to control the application as it doesn't run like the liquids or gels. I use Kiwi neutral shoe polish as the release agent (see the article on stress free pillar bedding on 6mmBR.com) and it has worked fine. Because the putty is so thick, it can be a bit of a challenge to measure the proportions accurately.
