Brownells USA Does not fit my enfield rifle 26/06/2012

I have an Enfield No. 4 Mk 1, and ordered this since the spring in my original mag had lost enough life that it no longer pushed rounds up high enough for the bolt to catch them (2 out of 3 rounds would just get a scrape on the brass).

This mag did NOT solve my problem. The tiny nub on the left side of the thing in the image here needs to be about a quarter inch longer, and an eighth of an inch or less higher up on the mag. It's current size and placement means that it does not fit in the rifle.

When I fire the gun, the mag falls out the bottom. Some machining might fix this, but if all of these mags are like this, I don't recommend buying.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Baught as my backup, use as my main. 11/01/2012

I baught this mag origanally as a backup plan for my already worn OEM mag. It went in a little stiff, and you have to mean to put one in the chamber, but I think a day or two at the range, and some minor persuasion with the right tools will loosen it up a bit. Over all it looks great, loads smooth, and give an old rifle a much needed upgrade.
