841370115716 EGW red dot sights are meant to be installed from the left to the right (with the muzzle facing forward). The dovetail has a progressive taper to allow for easier install. Simply remove the rear sight on your gun and replace it with EGW mount in order to mount yourVortex Viper/Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sight. No alterations are required. You can take the mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included. Installation Instructions Remove the rear sight* Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail Tighten set screw (if applicable) Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount (placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight.) Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws Torque mounting screws to 15in/lbs 2 Button Head Cap Screws - Provided for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights 2 Flat Head Cap Screws - Provided for Burris FastFire and Docter Sights The screws that are included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation. Please take note to the Pre 2017 and Post 2017 differences. Pre 2017 rear shelf behind the dovetail is .187"" and Post 2017 is .120".

The EGW Sight Mount is designed specifically for the Desert Eagle pre-2017 model, allowing you to easily mount your Vortex Viper or Venom red dot sights. This high-quality mount is perfect for enhancing your shooting experience.

  • Progressive taper dovetail for easy installation.
  • No alterations required; simply replace the rear sight.
  • Compatible with Vortex Viper/Venom, Burris FastFire, and Docter red-dot sights.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove the rear sight*
  2. Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail
  3. Tighten set screw (if applicable)
  4. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount (for easier removal, place a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the mount to keep Loctite off the sight)
  5. Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws
  6. Torque mounting screws to 15 in/lbs

Included Hardware:

  • 2 Button Head Cap Screws - for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights
  • 2 Flat Head Cap Screws - for Burris FastFire and Docter Sights

Please note that the screws included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation. Additionally, be aware of the differences between the Pre 2017 and Post 2017 models: the Pre 2017 rear shelf behind the dovetail is .187" and the Post 2017 is .120".
