Its purpose is simple: produce an exceptionally clean, uniform case mouth with minimal effort and without the rough edges often left behind by conventional deburring tools. Whether preparing carefully selected match brass or processing larger batches, Donar combines precise cutting performance with a fast and straightforward workflow. Why Deburring Matters Deburring is a small step with a direct influence on the consistency of finished ammunition. Burrs, sharp edges, and uneven case mouths can interfere with smooth bullet seating and introduce unnecessary variation from one cartridge to the next. A clean, uniform case mouth provides a controlled transition during seating and reduces the risk of damaging the bullet. Donar is designed to make that finish repeatable - case after case. Carbide Where It Matters Instead of simple stamped cutters, Donar uses CNC-machined indexable carbide inserts. The carbide cutting edges provide excellent sharpness and wear resistance, maintaining consistent performance over extended use. Once one cutting edge is worn, the insert can simply be indexed to a fresh edge. The result is a precise, controlled cut with minimal secondary finishing.
