The Magpul PMAG D-50 LR/SR GEN M3 is a robust and lightweight 50-round drum magazine designed specifically for 7.62x51 NATO/.308 Winchester® ammunition. This innovative magazine is compatible with SR25/M110 pattern rifles and is engineered to handle longer-than-SAAMI®-spec match ammunition, such as M118LR, with an overall length of up to 2.830”.

Sharing its DNA with the legendary Magpul PMAG GEN M3, the D-50 features next-generation impact and crush-resistant polymer construction. It is designed to seat fully loaded on a closed bolt, ensuring reliability under all conditions. The robust stainless-steel internals provide excellent corrosion resistance and maintain functionality during long-term storage.
Easy to Use
The D-50 includes a ratcheting loading lever that alleviates spring tension, allowing for easy loading by hand. A translucent anti-glare window on the rear of the drum provides a quick visual indication of remaining ammunition. Additionally, the dot matrix pattern allows for easy marking and identification. Disassembly is straightforward with a flat blade screwdriver or similar tool.

Weighing approximately 1.7 lbs. when empty and 4.5 lbs. when loaded, the Magpul D-50 is one of the lightest 50-round 7.62x51/.308 drums available on the market, and it is competitively priced.

Compatibility
- Designed specifically for 7.62x51 NATO/.308 Winchester® ammunition.
- Not recommended for use with other calibers such as .260 Remington® or 6.5 Creedmoor.
- Compatible with older model Bushmaster .308 ORC, Remington R-25, and DPMS LR308 rifles.
- Not optimized for bolt lock functionality with newer models based on the DPMS GII design.
- Not compatible with Armalite AR-10B, Springfield Armory M1A, Rock River Arms LAR8, FN SCAR 17S, PTR-91, HK417, or any other rifles utilizing M14, FN FAL, or HK 91/G3 patterned magazines.
