This mount does not fit:

  • Rock Island 1911s

Installation is straightforward: simply remove the rear sight on your firearm and replace it with our mount to securely attach your Trijicon RMR red dot sight. No alterations to your gun are necessary, allowing for easy removal and reinstallation of your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware is included for your convenience.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove the rear sight*
  2. Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail
  3. Tighten set screw (if applicable)
  4. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount (placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight.)
  5. Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws
  6. Torque mounting screws to 15in/lbs

Note: 2 Flat Head Cap Screws are provided for Trijicon RMR. The screws that are included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation.
